The Cut Bar and Grill - The Rocks, Sydney

Situated in The Argyle district of The Rocks, The Cut Bar and Grill is one of the latest steak joints to hit town and only one of a couple of restaurants to be fitted out with a proper broiler. This restaurant serves the highest quality F1 Grade marble score 7 wagyu amongst your usual standard fare.

The Cut was also the location of my 30th Birthday dinner.

4-hour Slow Roast Sher F1 Wagyu Standing Rib "standard cut"
Without asking how you like your beef cooked, it comes out just like the above. Nice and juicy!

As most people who know me, I have one. of. the. most. sweet. tooths. ever. The Cut (according to our waitress) serve one of the Top 10 desserts in Sydney, the meringue in the below photo set with a candle for my birthday :)

I'd rate it high in my list also.
Top Left: "Apple Pie"- Apple & Blackberry Jelly, Honey Creme, Black Cumin Milk Sorbet
Top Right: Chocolate Coconut Mousse, Black Cherry Sorbet w/ Coconut Rough Soil & Cherry Liqueur Bubbles
Bottom Left: "Mrs Robinson" - Parma Pomegranate Liqueur & Pomme Verte with lychee juice, whole lychees & watermelon cubes
Bottom Centre: Praline Crusted Meringue w/ Passionfruit Curd & Campari Pearls
Bottom Right: "Deconstructed" Lemon and Blueberry Cheesecake w/ Chestnut Crumble
Deceivingy, they do not mention in the menu that the cheesecake is served "deconstructed", so if that's not your thing then do not go for it!

All in all, The Cut Bar and Grill is definitely a place on my must-eat-at-again list!
